How I travel for LESS and how you can too!

WHAT ARE AVIOS?

Avios are reward points used by British Airways and other OneWorld airlines. You can collect them from everyday purchases like grocery shopping, flights, hotel bookings, and even Uber rides and redeem them for flights, upgrades, hotel stays, and more.

Why I created the Avios starter guide

As someone who loves to travel and who also has family and friends in Brazil I started to feel frustrated by how expensive flights were becoming. A simple trip to visit loved ones overseas felt out of reach, and I knew I couldn’t be the only one feeling that way.

That’s when I began researching how airline points and travel rewards systems really worked. I spent months learning how to earn Avios without constantly flying, how to redeem them for maximum value, and how to avoid common mistakes that many beginners make.

Once I saw how powerful (and simple) this system could be, I knew I had to turn everything I learned into something clear, accessible, and beginner-friendly so I created the Avios Hacks Guide.

Now, I use my Avios points to travel more affordably and this guide will show you how to start doing the same.

Real Flight Savings Breakdown

This is a real comparison from one of my recent trips, showing how I used Avios points to save around 78% on flights.
The examples below also follow a specific strategy I’ve learned for booking smarter with Avios and I’ll be sharing the exact method soon in: The Ultimate Avios Flight Booking Guide.

REAL FLIGHT PAYMENT CONFIRMATION (EXAMPLE BELOW IS FOR 2 PASSENGERS)

International travel doesn’t have to be expensive. I flew to South America and back for just £174.52.
